"Currently, the Russian forces is conducting a series of offensive operations along most of the front.

On the Bahmut direction, the offensive of the Russian forces continues north and east of Ivanivka, involving the 217th Separate Infantry Battalion of the 98th Separate Airborne Division and the 102nd Separate Mountain Assault Brigade of the 150th Separate Mountain Division of the 8th Army Corps. Attempts at assault actions are being made west of Kleschivka by the 1008th SMAB of the 6th Mechanized Brigade of the 3rd Army Corps (AC) and east of Andriivka by the 1194th SMAB of the 6th MB of the 3rd AC.

On the Lyman direction, pressure is being applied southeast of Vyemka by the 51st Separate Infantry Battalion of the 106th Separate Airborne Division. Assault actions have intensified east of Yampolivka involving the 31st and 37th Separate Mechanized Brigades, the 19th Tank Regiment of the 67th Separate Mechanized Division of the 25th AC. Pressure has continued east of Terna by the 283rd and 488th SMB of the 144th SMD of the 20th AC.

There has been increased activity in the Zaporizhzhia region, preceded by the merger of the Group of troops"Dnipro" and  "Zaporizhzhia" into a unified Group of troops "Dnipro", which now has almost 130,000 personnel and a combined mechanized resource consisting of:

• Tanks – over 650 units;

• AFVs – about 2,000 units;

• Artillery – 900 units;

• MLRS – about 200 units.

The command of the Russian forces, emboldened by the capture of Avdiivka, is not only attempting to demonstrate their ability to "advance" but also to exploit the window of opportunity when the Ukrainian Armed Forces are experiencing a severe shortage of ammunition. Considering the number of shots fired daily by the Ukrainian artillery, it can be said that we are currently fighting without artillery support.

Taking advantage of this weakness and the total domination of tactical aviation, which applies guided aerial bombs without restriction, the Russian forces are probing and exerting pressure along almost the entire front line.

Instead of an operational pause, which logically should have occurred after the capture of Avdiivka, during which the process of replenishing losses should have begun, the command of the Russian army has chosen to extract the maximum from its units while there is still an opportunity.

Where will this lead? It is unlikely to lead to a significant breakthrough of the front. Loss of individual locations is possible, and we must be psychologically prepared for it. However, given the current goals and capabilities, our choice of tactics is highly limited, focusing on the quantity of enemy destruction without strict adherence to positions."
