The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the inclusion of the industrial park “Dionis Energo Eco Park” in the Register of Industrial (Manufacturing) Parks.
The park has been established for a period of 30 years on the territory of the Kvitneva rural territorial community in Zhytomyr district, Zhytomyr region. The initiative is led by Dionis Biogas Energy LLC, according to the press service of the Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture.
The total area of the industrial park exceeds 13.2 hectares. The implementation of the “Dionis Energo Eco Park” project aims to create approximately 600 new jobs. The total investment from companies already confirmed to participate in the project (Ukraine 2001 LLC, Teofopolska Energy Company LLC, and First Podolian Energy Company LLC) is expected to reach UAH 800 million.
According to the concept, the park’s development involves attracting investments from participants as well as funds from the state budget.
The “Dionis Energo Eco Park” is planned to host enterprises in the following sectors:
- Production of biogas, bioethanol, and bioplastics
- Generation of alternative energy
- Manufacturing of construction materials
- Food industry
- Production of fertilizers and nitrogen compounds
