Mobilization on the territory of Russia continues uninterrupted. At the same time, an increase in the call-up of Russians is expected after the "elections" of Putin.

This was reported by the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Andriy Yusov, during a television marathon.

Responding to a question about whether a new wave of mobilization is possible in Russia now and whether Russia's policy will change after Putin's victory, Yusov noted that mobilization measures in the aggressor country have not ceased.

"And yes, after this farce called 'Putin's elections,' there is expected to be an increase in their activity. Perhaps they may take on a more open character. And that's true," the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate noted.

Last year, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that during a new wave of mobilization, Russia aims to conscript between 400,000 to 700,000 individuals. This mobilization is expected to involve Chechnya and the occupied territories of Ukraine.
