Aleksey Arestovich, the adviser to the head of the presidential office, assured that one day a turning point would occur at the front, and Russian troops would begin to withdraw from Ukrainian territory on their own, as they retreated from Kyiv, Sumy and Chernihiv.
The Russian occupiers will have irrational thoughts of what is happening. Arestovich spoke about this in a conversation with Russian lawyer and human rights activist Mark Feygin on June 17.
âWe will talk about the liberation of our entire territory by military means, at least to the February 23 line. Because one day a turning point will occur and Russian troops will begin to withdraw from Ukrainian territory on their own, as they retreated from Kyiv, Sumy and Chernihiv. Having received a complete military defeat, but realizing the futility, they will begin to retreat," said the adviser to the head of the Presidential Office.
"They are already close to the saturation limit. Now, of course, they have gathered resources and rushed to the Sloviansk and Popasna directions. But note that Kherson is defending; Zaporizhzhia is standing and there are not enough resources there. There are not enough reserves," Arestovich said.
He also predicted the approximate dates when Russian troops would begin withdrawing from Ukrainian territories.
"Well, a little more, some more deadlines. You can say - 2-3 weeks, in fact - no, there will be more, maybe a month and a half. But they will stop. And then there will be a feeling (for the occupiers), very important from an ideological point of view, and from the point of view of victory in the mental space - the meaninglessness of what is happening," said the adviser to the head of the OP.
