Major General Andrey Kovalchuk, Commander of the Operational Command "South", announced this in an interview with Tablet magazine.
According to him, unlike the occupying forces, the Ukrainian army has no problems with personnel.
“We have already mobilized half a million people, and we can mobilize another half a million if necessary. What we need now to continue the operation is heavier weapons,†the general explained.
It is noted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine do not yet have enough firepower for a counteroffensive in all directions.
