On the night of May 16, Russian forces struck the Odesa and Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi districts. As a result of the attack, private residential houses, farm buildings, and a garage with three cars were destroyed.
This was reported by the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Odesa region.
According to preliminary information, 3 people were injured and hospitalized.
"Three people were injured: one man, after receiving medical care, continues treatment on an outpatient basis; another injured person is in moderate condition; a woman is in critical condition. Our doctors are fighting for their lives and health. All emergency services continue working to eliminate the consequences of the attack. Law enforcement officers are documenting yet another crime by the Russians against the peaceful population of Odessa region," wrote Oleh Kiper, the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration.
To eliminate the consequences of the enemy shelling, 10 units of equipment and 37 firefighters from the State Emergency Service were involved. From the local fire team, 2 units of equipment and 6 personnel were deployed.
