Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said on Tuesday that Bosnia and Herzegovina has confirmed its intention to join the International Coalition for the Return of Ukrainian Children.

He wrote about this on the social media platform X.

“Grateful to Bosnia and Herzegovina and Foreign Minister Elmedin Dino Konaković for confirming their intention to join the International Coalition for the Return of Ukrainian Children,” the minister wrote.

The head of Ukraine’s foreign policy agency noted that if Bosnia and Herzegovina joins, the number of coalition members will reach 50.

“This important step demonstrates Bosnia and Herzegovina’s commitment to protecting children's rights, upholding international law, and supporting Ukraine’s efforts to bring every deported or forcibly transferred Ukrainian child back home,” Sybiha emphasized.

He added that each new member of the International Coalition for the Return of Ukrainian Children strengthens the collective ability to act.

“Ukraine will continue working with international partners to ensure responsibility for everyone involved in the deportation, illegal adoption, and militarization of Ukrainian children,” Sybiha said.
