The attack by Ukraine on the Russian airfield Kuschevskaya forced the enemy to relocate about 40 aircraft, affecting Russia's future combat sorties.

This was reported by the Twitter account of the British Ministry of Defense.

"Over the course of this week the Ukrainian attack on the Russian airfiels Kushchevskaya has likely contributed to approximately 40 aircraft of different types being removed from the area and dispersed to multiple airfield further from the frontline," British intelligence writes.

It is noted that the impact of the attack on the airfield may not be immediately apparent. However, Ukraine demonstrated the ability to strike much further into the depths of the Russian Federation.

In particular, the redeployment means that the enemy will have to increase the duration of flights to maintain the same level of presence over the combat area.

"This, in turn, will require more fuel, increasing costs, as well as increasing the workload on the crews," intelligence notes.

The drone strike on the Kuschevskaya airbase occurred on April 27. The attack was organized by the Security Service of Ukraine in collaboration with the Armed Forces.
