Ukraine has never received any investigation results from China concerning the presence of Chinese components in Russian weapons, which China could have conducted based on information provided by Kyiv.
This was stated by Vladyslav Vlasiuk, Presidential Commissioner for Sanctions Policy, during a television broadcast.
“We sincerely value China as a reliable trade partner. We respect that China does not supply lethal weapons to the Russian Federation. There have been a number of consultations with them on the topic of Chinese components in Russian weapons. On the one hand, there is a serious acknowledgment that this is a problem, and the Chinese government should not allow such a volume of critical components to enter the Russian military-industrial complex. On the other hand, we have never received any response with the results of any investigation they could have conducted based on our information,” Vlasiuk noted.
He added that after a major shelling of Kyiv, Ukrainian experts identified parts produced at a Chinese factory in June of this year. Kyiv presented photographic evidence of this situation, but Chinese diplomats did not respond.
Following this, Ukraine imposed sanctions on five Chinese manufacturers.
