Deputy Ministers of Defense of Ukraine, Serhiy Boyev and Hanna Hvozdiyar, held a working meeting with a delegation from the Czech Ministry of Defense, led by Deputy Minister Daniel Blažkovec.

The main topic of the meeting was the optimization of ammunition procurement and delivery processes under the “Czech Initiative.” Aleš Vítečka, Director of the Intergovernmental Agency for Military Cooperation at the Czech Ministry of Defense, briefed the Ukrainian side on the relevant delivery schedules.

“Russia continues to apply pressure on the front, so the need for ammunition remains high,” emphasized Ukrainian Deputy Minister of Defense Serhiy Boyev.

The discussion also covered the need for funding Ukraine’s defense industry and the prospects for joint projects with the Czech defense sector.

“Ukrainian companies are ready to produce millions of drones next year. However, funding is needed to fully utilize this capacity,” noted Deputy Minister Hanna Hvozdiyar
