At the front in Ukraine, an escalation should be expected in the near future.

Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov said this on the telethon air.

"Russia will try to inflict maximum harm on us. But we also believe in our Armed Forces, we understand what is happening at the front. I want to note that before the meeting of the National Security and Defense Council, a meeting of the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander was held. We are grateful to everyone moving forward in the Kharkiv and Luhansk directions. We are grateful to those who defend the Donetsk direction and others. We understand what is happening at the front. Our troops are ready for any development of events. We believe that in the near future, there will be an attempt to escalate from the Russian Federation, because they are mobilizing," Danilov said.

The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council noted that in Russia, women could become more active because men are taken away from them for war.

"But we are ready and predict what will happen and we understand what the Russian Federation expects soon. I am sure that the women of Russia will have their say. Such a movement is already happening in the Caucasus - women understand that they remain on their own and can be in the forefront of all trials in the Russian Federation because their men are sent here to be killed," Danilov said.
