The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reports on the situation at the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant.

The aggressor state, Russia, which temporarily controls the critical infrastructure facility, is increasing pressure on Ukrainian citizens working at the nuclear power plant to compel them to obtain Russian passports and sign contracts with "Rosatom."

According to the demands of the Russian occupiers, several hundred Ukrainian Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant workers must be passportized with documents from Russia and sign contracts by December 31, 2023.

To force Ukrainian experts, psychological pressure is applied by selectively denying access to their workplaces, canceling their passes without warning.

Among Ukrainian workers who refuse to sign contracts with "Rosatom" and Russian passports, Russian special services attempt to sow distrust among them, creating conditions for anonymous reporting, including through specially created Telegram bots.

At the same time, dissatisfaction is growing among the imported Russian energy specialists at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant due to unfulfilled promises regarding the terms of assignments to the occupied Ukrainian nuclear power plant. Instead of two months, Moscow orders them to work for six months and longer, as it is difficult for Russia to find willing qualified specialists to replace them.
