The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has released information about 7 individuals involved in the militarization of Ukrainian children in territories occupied by Russia.
In the “Child Kidnappers” section of the War&Sanctions portal, data on seven individuals and three organizations were published, showing those who carry out the militarization of Ukrainian children and facilitate the illegal transfer of guardianship to Russian families.

Russia continues to carry out a cultural genocide as part of its aggression against Ukraine. Specifically, the Russian Federation conducts targeted measures to forcibly integrate children from temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories into Russian society and indoctrinate them with military-patriotic and ideological “education.”

“By destroying their national identity and imposing a distorted reality, Russia seeks to legitimize the occupation in the eyes of future generations and expects that in a few years these children will replenish the mobilization resources for future Kremlin wars,” Main Intelligence Directorate emphasized.

Among the individuals named are leaders of the sports clubs “Sila Donbassa (The Force of Donbas)” and “Spartak,” leadership of the “Yunarmiya” movement, Russian government officials, and the head of a project facilitating the adoption of Ukrainian children.

The information about these individuals and organizations was obtained from participants of the War&Sanctions hackathon held in May.

As Main Intelligence Directorate reminded, on the anniversary of the War&Sanctions portal launch, data on 13 individuals who conduct militarization activities with Ukrainian children and facilitate their forced adoption by Russian families had been published.
