Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, in the “Components in weapons” section on the War&Sanctions portal, is publishing information about 68 new components found in missiles and UAVs used by Russia against Ukraine.
This update, in particular, includes components of the 9M727 “Iskander‑K” cruise missile, the aeroballistic Kh‑47M2 “Kinzhal” missile, North Korean ballistic missiles KN‑23/KN‑24, and the strike UAV “Geran‑2” (Shahed‑136).
These strike systems were used by the enemy on the night of October 22 during a massive combined air attack on Ukraine’s energy sector and peaceful cities.

Against the background of news “about successes in localization,” Russian missiles and drones continue to fly on chips from American, Chinese, Swiss, Japanese, Taiwanese and other foreign manufacturers.
At the same time, two of the six types of strike systems used in that attack are supplied to the Russian Federation (RF) thanks to support from its strategic partners — Iran and the DPRK.
"This underscores risks for regions far beyond Europe, in particular for the Indo‑Pacific region and the Middle East. Today’s update confirms that current global export‑control practices and intergovernmental cooperation mechanisms need to be reviewed and improved in response to the new challenges of wartime," the message reads.
The “Components in weapons” section, which contains information on nearly 5,200 components across 179 weapon samples, is intended to help the civilized world in the technological disarmament of Russia.
