The Russian military took the bodies of the dead sailors and secret documentation from the sunken cruiser Moskva. This was reported to Krym.Realii by the representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Vadym Skibitsky.

He confirmed the information of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation that the cruiser "Moscow" sank when it was towed to Sevastopol.

According to him, Russia carried out a rescue operation on the sunken cruiser "Moscow" (Moskva). Skibitsky claims that it lasted at least two weeks.

“From 5 to 7 ships were involved. Basically, these were rescue ships, boats, tugboats that took out the bodies, of those who died on the Moskva cruiser, removed all the equipment that was classified there, and carried out a cleanup of this cruiser - they got out what was left there and what should not get into the hands of a third country,” Skibitsky said.

The Russian military did not publicly report on the rescue operation on the sunken cruiser Moskva.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the flagship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, the guards missile cruiser "Moscow", sank, according to the Russian Defense Ministry, on April 14 while being towed to the port. The death of the Russian cruiser occurred after a large-scale fire, subsequently, presumably, an attack on April 13 by Ukrainian Neptune missiles.

At the same time, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the crew, with staffing of over 500 people, was evacuated.

Until April 22, the Russian authorities did not disclose information about whether some died due to the sinking of the "Moscow" cruiser. Relatives of sailors began to report missing people on social networks.

The Russian Ministry of Defense acknowledged the death of only one person on board of the "Moscow" - Senior Warrant Officer Ivan Vakhrushev. The Russian Defense Ministry claims that 27 sailors are missing and 396 have been evacuated. Vakhrushev was buried in Sevastopol.

According to a preliminary assessment by the Ukrainian side, Russia was able to rescue 58 people out of 510 crew members of the sunken Russian cruiser "Moscow".

There is no independent confirmation of data on Russian losses on the "Moscow" cruiser.
