Russian bombers have dropped eight bombs on the territory of Russia’s Belgorod region over the past 11 days.
This is evidenced by the account of a local resident, intercepted by specialists of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
In the conversation intercepted by Ukrainian intelligence, a resident of the border region of Belgorod describes fires at the region’s infrastructure facilities caused by hostilities, specifically noting the role of Russian aviation in bombing its own citizens.
“For 11 days, Russian bombers dropped eight bombs, eight bombs on the territory of Belgorod region. Can you imagine?” the woman reports.
As the intelligence service emphasized, Russian aviation continues to strike Ukraine’s civilian population using aerial bombs equipped with planning and correction modules.
However, due to the technical imperfections of Russian munitions, some bombs fail to follow their intended course and “end up falling on the heads of Russians living in the border area.”
