Russia suffered its highest artillery losses of the war in June, with Ukraine's Defense Forces destroying or damaging 2,074 artillery systems, according to the Ministry of Defense.
For comparison, 1,993 Russian artillery systems were destroyed or disabled in May — the equivalent of more than 110 standard artillery battalions.
June also saw a record number of Russian military vehicles and fuel tankers destroyed or damaged, with 12,878 hit compared with 8,612 in May.
The Defense Ministry noted that it has launched a dedicated "Logistics Lockdown" programme aimed at expanding Ukraine's medium-range strike capabilities and systematically targeting Russian logistics, ammunition depots, military equipment, command posts, and supply routes deep behind the front lines.
In addition, Ukraine's Defense Forces struck 103 Russian tanks, 197 armored combat vehicles, and 60 air defense systems during June.
"For air defense systems, this is the highest monthly figure in the past two years and the second-highest since the beginning of the full-scale war," the ministry said.
