As a result of a drone attack in the Odessa district on the evening of May 5, residential buildings, outbuildings, and a school were damaged. A 29-year-old man was killed, and a 19-year-old man was hospitalized.
This was reported on Telegram by the Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office.
"As a result of the enemy attack in the Odessa district, a 29-year-old local resident died – the man suffered fatal thermal burns due to damage to the power lines," the statement said.
Another victim, a 19-year-old young man, was hospitalized for poisoning from combustion products.
Private residential homes, outbuildings, a school, warehouse premises of a private enterprise, and cars were damaged.
According to the mayor of Chornomorsk, Vasyl Hulyaev, a house inhabited by two first-group disabled individuals was destroyed by the shelling. At the time of the attack, their relatives had already taken them to a shelter.
