In the Odessa region, the Russian Federation attacked a parking lot with cargo trucks using strike drones, killing 2 people.

The State Emergency Service reported this on Facebook.

“As a result of the strikes, a fire broke out in a parking lot with cargo trucks, which rescuers promptly extinguished,” the State Emergency Service reported. According to preliminary information, two people were killed and one person was injured.

The head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, clarified that two more people were reported injured as a result of the night attack.

“One of them has been hospitalized with thermal burns from the fire. Doctors are providing all the necessary assistance, and his condition is of moderate severity,” he said.

Kiper also added that the identities of the two people killed in the Russian strike are currently being established.

The Odesa Regional Prosecutor’s Office has opened a criminal investigation into the Russian attack on a parking lot in the Izmail district of the Odessa region.

“Under the procedural guidance of the Izmail District Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into war crimes that resulted in the deaths of civilians (Part 2, Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine),” the statement reads.

According to the Prosecutor’s Office, two civilians were killed and three others injured during the night attack. A 42-year-old man was hospitalized, while two other victims — men aged 42 and 48 — received medical assistance at the scene.
