It became known that the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, plans to meet with Putin to give a final assessment of the agreements on the "grain corridor".

TRT reports this.

On July 22, Ukraine signed an agreement on the "grain corridor". According to the agreements, Turkey and the UN act as security guarantors for exporting grain from three Ukrainian Black Sea ports.

The meeting should take place on August 5 on the territory of the Russian Federation in Sochi. TRT notes that the president's visit concerns the war in Ukraine.

Erdogan and Putin last met on July 19 at a tripartite summit in Tehran.
