Estonia will host the Ukraine Recovery Conference in 2027.

This was announced by Estonian Prime Minister Kristen Michal during the international Ukraine Recovery Conference in Rome.

“We will hold the Ukraine Recovery Conference in 2027. I invite all of you to join us in Tallinn,” Michal said.

The Estonian Prime Minister emphasized that Ukraine’s recovery and reconstruction begins with achieving peace and holding Russia accountable, including through an international tribunal.

“We have no plan ‘B’, only victory for Ukraine. Ukraine needs reconstruction and recovery; it cannot manage this alone. Our message is clear: Russia must pay for all the destruction it has caused,” Michal stressed.

He noted that Estonia has frozen Russian assets and calls on all European partners to do the same.

Michal highlighted the importance of implementing civilian projects in Ukraine during the war. In this context, he mentioned Estonia’s support for the initiative to restore a nursing home in Zhytomyr region.

The Estonian Prime Minister also stated that Estonia supports Ukraine’s aspirations to become a full member of the European Union and NATO.
