In the pre-trial detention center, the fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will read that Ukraine has been completely captured, and its army has been defeated, and they will become more accommodating, the organizers of such manipulation believe.

The FSB has begun producing fake newspapers and TV and radio programs that will imitate the Ukrainian and independent press for Ukrainian prisoners of war in the pre-trial detention center in Rostov-on-Don. Vladimir Osechkin, the founder of the human rights organization Gulagu.net, stated this on the air of the Vozdukh program.

According to him, “this is done to initially give fake information that the Ukrainian army has been defeated, and no one will come for them, save them, will not exchange them, and all of Ukraine is already under Russian control of Russian security forces.”

The human rights activist, who spoke about torture in Russian colonies and pre-trial detention centers and was put on the wanted list in Russia, refers to his informed source in the Federal Penitentiary Service, "Wind of change" in the foreign press.

Such psychological treatment of prisoners of war, according to its organizers, will help them to manipulate better, Osechkin points out:

“In order to demoralize prisoners of war, so that they sign testimony, they slander themselves and third parties with whom they served.”

The price of producing such materials is also known: 22 thousand rubles for each fake newspaper, Osechkin specifies.
