Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine, Pavlo Kartashov, held a meeting in Kyiv with a French business delegation organized by Business France, with the participation of UkraineInvest Executive Director Maryna Khlystun.
The parties discussed the participation of French companies in post-war reconstruction projects and new opportunities for investment cooperation.
The delegation included eight companies — Bayard, Ingetec, EcoSun Innovation, LCR, Riou Glass, Technique Topo, Timelapse Go — as well as representatives of the Embassy of France in Ukraine and Business France Director Romain Destieux.
The sides reviewed the implementation of the €200 million Grant Agreement, which includes 19 projects focused on restoring critical infrastructure, and discussed preparations for a new Grant Agreement.
The Ukrainian side presented the main investment priorities:
- housing construction
- transport
- energy
- industry
- agriculture
Additionally, Ukraine showcased its investment portal and Investment Guide, featuring over 250 projects across 11 strategic sectors.
“French businesses are showing genuine support for Ukraine — not only politically but also practically. The growing interest in renewable and infrastructure projects is a strong signal of solidarity and trust in Ukraine. We see France as one of our key partners in modernizing the economy and shaping a new European architecture of resilience together,” said Deputy Minister Pavlo Kartashov.
Both sides reaffirmed their readiness for continued cooperation in reconstruction, innovation, and investment attraction, which will further strengthen and sustain Ukraine’s economy.
