Russian forces launched attacks on multiple fronts during the past day, with 33 reported engagements. The Ukrainian General Staff provided this information in their evening update.
On the Kupyansk front, Ukrainian defenders repelled three enemy attacks near Synkivka and Ivanivka in the Kharkiv region. Artillery and mortar shelling by the enemy targeted more than 15 populated areas, including Kamianka, Dvurechanska, Synkivka, and Kyslivka in the Kharkiv region.
On the Lyman front, as reported by the General Staff, Defense Forces repelled four enemy attacks in the area of Makiivka in the Luhansk region. Artillery and mortar shelling affected over 10 populated areas, including Nevske, Belohorivka in the Luhansk region, and Sporne and Razdolivka in the Donetsk region.
On the Bahmut front, Ukrainian forces successfully repelled all enemy attacks north of Bohdanivka, Kleschivka, and Andriivka during the past day. More than 15 populated areas, including Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Kleschivka, Andriivka, and Northern Donetsk Region, were subjected to artillery and mortar fire. On the Avdiivka front, defense forces thwarted all enemy attacks in the Avdiivka area of Donetsk Region. Artillery and mortar shelling affected more than 10 populated areas, including Keramyk, Avdiivka, Opytne, and Northern Donetsk Region.
On the Mariupol front, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled 13 occupant attacks in the Marinka and Novomykhailivka areas of Donetsk Region during the past day. The enemy conducted an airstrike in the Konstiantynivka area of Donetsk Region. Approximately 10 populated areas, including Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Pobeda, and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk Region, were under the artillery fire of the invaders.
Additionally, on the Shakhtarsk front, approximately 10 populated areas, including Vodiane, Ugleedar, Prechystovka, Zolota Niva, and Urozhainoe in Donetsk Region, were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling.
Meanwhile, on the Zaporizhzhia front, the occupiers carried out aviation strikes in the areas of Novodanylivka, Rabotyne, and Orekhov in Zaporizhzhia Region. About 25 populated areas, including Poltavka, Hulyai-Pole, Orekhov, Rabotyne, Novoandriivka, Mali Tokmachka, Mali Shcherbaky in Zaporizhzhia Region, were under artillery and mortar fire. On the Kherson front, Russian occupiers conducted an aviation strike near Berislav. Hostile artillery and mortar shelling targeted Kherson and Stanislav in Kherson Region.
"The Ukrainian defense forces continue their offensive operation on the Melitopol front, carrying out offensive (assault) actions on the Bahmut front, inflicting losses on the occupation forces in personnel and equipment, and weakening the enemy along the entire front line," noted the General Staff.
