The Ukrainian charity Helping to Leave has unveiled a new merch collection titled “Home”, inspired by the real words and experiences of Ukrainians who managed to escape from temporarily occupied territories with the organization’s help.

The collection features T-shirts with the manifesto “Territories Are People,” along with tote bags and caps printed with quotes from evacuees and their families.

“These words reflect the experiences of people who have lived — and still live — under Russian occupation, yet continue to hold on to their faith and identity,” the Helping to Leave team explained.

“Their voices remind us that Ukrainians remain united, no matter the borders or circumstances. Our collection is a message to the world: giving up territory to Russia means giving up the people who live there. Wearing this merch means becoming their voice.”

All proceeds from sales will go toward evacuating residents of occupied territories and helping them adapt to life in safer areas.

Helping to Leave is a volunteer-driven charity that assists residents of temporarily occupied and frontline areas, as well as Ukrainians deported to Russia, to evacuate and rebuild their lives. Since its founding, the project has supported more than 65,000 people, including over 21,000 who were directly evacuated from occupied regions and Russia.

Those who wish to support Helping to Leave’s mission and aid people escaping occupation can donate via the organization’s website: helpingtoleave.org/en#donate.
