As of June 15, 2025, Russia possesses more than 1,950 strategic missiles of various types, including ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and hypersonic “Kinzhal” missiles.
This was stated in a response from the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine to an inquiry from RBC-Ukraine.
Also, Moscow has thousands of Shahed-136 attack drones and their imitators, according to Ukrainian military intelligence.
Russia’s main missile stockpiles include:

Up to 500 9M723 Iskander-M ballistic missiles
- Up to 300 9M728/9M729 Iskander-K cruise missiles
- Up to 260 Kh-101 cruise missiles (launched from Tu-95 and Tu-160 bombers)
- Up to 280 Kh-22/Kh-32 cruise missiles (launched from Tu-22M3 bombers)
- More than 400 3M-14 Kalibr cruise missiles
- Up to 150 Kh-47M2 Kinzhal hypersonic air-launched ballistic missiles (carried by MiG-31K fighters)
- Up to 60 KN-23 ballistic missiles of North Korean origin
According to Intelligence Agency, Russia produces up to 195 missiles per month, including approximately:
- Up to 60 Iskander-M
- Up to 20 Iskander-K
- Up to 60 Kh-101
- Up to 10 modernized Kh-32
- Up to 30 Kalibr
- Up to 15 Kinzhal missiles
Drone production
As of June 15, according to military intelligence, Russia had more than 6,000 strike UAVs, including:
- Geran-2 (Shahed-136)
- Harpy-A1
- and over 6,000 drone decoys (Gerbera)
Intelligence Agency estimates that Russia is currently capable of producing up to 170 such drones per day — both combat and decoy types.
Moreover, by the end of this year, Moscow plans to increase production to 190 units per day.
