In less than two months, 218 ships with agricultural products have left the ports of Odessa which is almost 5 million tons of exports. Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal told during the Government meeting.

"For the world, this means food security, and for Ukraine, it is export earnings, assistance to our agricultural sector and the economy in general," the Head of Government noted.

The Prime Minister noted that on the sidelines of the 77th Session of the UN General Assembly, the importance of extending the operation of the grain corridor was discussed: "The UN and its Secretary-General played a vital role in this agreement, and therefore with Mr. António Guterres, we discussed the details of the continuation of the initiative."
