In Donetsk region, 14,400 civilians remain in the active combat zone, with no children among them.
This was reported during an online briefing by Dmytro Petlin, Head of the Department for Civil Protection, Mobilization, and Defense Operations at the Donetsk Regional Military Administration.
“In the settlements of 20 communities classified as active combat zones, there are 14,400 people remaining,” Petlin said, adding that there are no children in these areas.
Since February 2022, over 1,316,600 people have been evacuated from settlements in Donetsk under Ukrainian control, including more than 201,600 children and 47,300 people with limited mobility.
Over the past week, 900 people left Donetsk for safer regions, including 300 children.
Currently, 196,800 civilians remain in the parts of Donetsk region under Ukrainian control.
