Due to a Russian drone attack on the night of October 22, energy and port infrastructure in Izmail were damaged.
This was reported by the Izmail District Military Administration.
“As a result of the air strike on the city of Izmail, energy and port infrastructure were damaged. Power supply in the city is being gradually restored,” the statement reads.
Energy workers reconnected critical infrastructure facilities and residential buildings to backup lines where technically possible, restoring electricity to 14,200 households.
Fires at the site of the attack have been extinguished, all critical infrastructure is operating, and there were no casualties.
