Russian troops carried out an airstrike on a multi-storey residential building in Kostiantynivka, Donetsk region, injuring at least 12 civilians — one woman is likely trapped under the rubble.
The strike occurred at 22:50 on May 7, when Russian forces used a FAB-250 aerial bomb with a planning and correction module. A direct hit damaged three apartment buildings and a store.
Among the injured are a 47-year-old woman and three men aged 46, 47, and 74, who suffered blast injuries, shrapnel wounds, bruises, and hypothermia.
Another eight civilians aged 41 to 75 sustained minor injuries and were rescued by emergency workers.
Prosecutors have opened a case under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — violation of the laws and customs of war. A pre-trial investigation is underway.
