In Lviv, from April 14th to 28th, the VI International Jazz Festival Lviv Jazz Days 2024 will take place, featuring Ukrainian and international musicians.

The event is organized by VINIL concert agency and supported by the Department of Culture, Nationalities, and Religions of the Lviv Regional State Administration. Throughout the week, the best jazz performers from Ukraine and abroad will perform at the Lviv Officers House.

"Jazz is true magic," emphasize the organizers, "which transports you to a world free from stress and everyday worries."

Programme:

April 14th (Sunday) 19:00 – Festival opening. "And Jazz Flows." Maria Stokolyas and the Lviv State Music College named after S.P. Lyudkevych "Lyudkevych Jazz Orchestra" will open the festival.

April 16th (Tuesday) 19:00 – "O.N.E." (Poland). The first all-female instrumental jazz collective in Poland. Acoustic quartet.

April 20th (Saturday) 19:00 – Ella Fitzgerald Tribute. The concert will feature jazz classics from the repertoire of the legendary singer Ella Fitzgerald performed by Lviv's best jazz musicians and jazz ladies.

April 25th (Thursday) 19:00 – "Opera Avangard" & "Groove Syndicate." Opera Avangard is a community that brings together various musicians for jam sessions and concerts, which has organized over 7 charity events since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

April 26th (Friday) 19:00 – JazzBand "Medikus." A unique ensemble, the oldest active jazz band in Ukraine. Under the leadership of Yarema Kaminsky & Co., they unite the best Dixieland style standards that can immerse every listener in the festival atmosphere. 

April 27th (Saturday) 19:00 – "Usein Bekirov Project." Maestro Bekirov, twice nominated for Grammy awards, an outstanding jazz musician, arranger, and composer, will gather the best jazz musicians from all over Ukraine on this day. This concert will undoubtedly be the highlight of the festival.

April 28th (Sunday) 19:00 – Festival closing. Big Band of the M.V. Lysenko Lviv National Music Academy "Lviv Jazz Orchestra." The last day of the festival should be loud, pompous, and extensive. The best students of the M.V. Lysenko Lviv National Music Academy, under the artistic direction of Serhiy Rudiy, will give the audience incomparable emotions from immortal masterpieces in the popular Hollywood style of the 1960s Swing. Special guest: The Voice of the Country finalist – David Maskisa.

For the first time in the festival's six-year history, a single ticket subscription system for all 7 concerts has been introduced, with a cost of 900 UAH
