In the Kherson direction, the enemy lost more than 70 accomplices annoinced in the operational command "South".
The Ukrainian military restored control over 8 settlements of the Kherson region from the positions of observation posts.
This was announced by the speaker of the operational command "South" Vladislav Nazarov.
"In the Kherson region, the enemy tried to become more active on the eve of the fake referendum. Attempts to carry out assault actions in the direction of Aleksandrovka and Tauride were not successful," he said.
According to Nazarov, the enemy's attempts to seize Nikolaevka were also unsuccessful.
"The infliction of fire damage by the artillery of general destruction … repulsed. Our units have restored control over 8 settlements of the Kherson region from the positions of observation posts," the command spokesman added.
He said that in the Kiselevka area, the Ukrainian military hit the accumulation of manpower and equipment of the invaders, which was being prepared for a further attack on Posad-Pokrovskoye.
"Having suffered significant losses, the enemy withdrew towards Chernobaevka. The total losses of the enemy are 74 rashists and 13 pieces of equipment, including two tanks, multiple rocket launchers, six armored and engineering vehicles, four reconnaissance drones," Nazarov said.
