In Ukraine, they are testing the unmanned ground vehicle D-21-11. The vehicle is equipped with an automatic turret and is capable of performing combat tasks in hotspots.
This information was reported by the Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Mykhailo Fedorov.
"D-21-11 is a versatile Ukrainian robot created by participants of the defense cluster Brave1. The machine is equipped with an automatic turret and can perform combat tasks, such as reconnaissance, assault, or defense of positions," wrote Fedorov.
Specifically, the vehicle can deliver ammunition or provisions to support our fighters. The combat part of the robot is entirely detachable.
The combat part of the robot has already undergone successful testing. The plans include integrating NATO weaponry into the robot and enhancing resistance to enemy electronic warfare.
Currently, the team is working on scaling up production.
