Around 4:00 AM, Russian occupants launched an attack on Ukraine with air and sea-based missiles.

According to a statement from the Ukrainian Air Force, at least 28 cruise missiles of various types were launched.

Specifically, four Kh-22 cruise missiles were launched from six Tu-22M3 long-range aviation aircraft (airbases at Soltsy and Shaykovka), and 20 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles were launched from 11 strategic aviation aircraft (airbases at Engels and Olenegorsk). Additionally, four Kalibr cruise missiles were launched by the occupants from a frigate in the Black Sea (near Yalta).

An air alert was declared across Ukraine. Anti-aircraft defense systems were activated in many regions, including anti-aircraft missile units, mobile fire groups, fighter aircraft, and immediate coverage units.

"As a result of the air battle carried out by the Air Force in collaboration with other branches of the Armed Forces, the following were destroyed: 16 Kh-101/Kh-555 and Kalibr cruise missiles," the statement reads.

The Air Force also reported 8 launches of enemy surface-to-air guided missiles (S-300/S-400) targeting the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions

 

Two cruise missiles hit an industrial facility in Lutsk, according to the head of the Volyn Regional State Administration. He added that as of 8:00 AM, there is also information about three fatalities and three injured individuals.

Due to the nighttime shelling of Dnipro, a sports complex has been damaged. According to the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, Serhiy Lysak, an enterprise has also been damaged, resulting in a fire. Rescue teams have already extinguished the fire.

In Lviv, a rocket hit the courtyard of a kindergarten, fortunately without casualties, says Andriy Sadovyi. The kindergarten has been destroyed. Additionally, over a hundred residential buildings have been damaged, and more than 500 windows have been shattered. Four individuals are receiving medical assistance. There is no threat to their lives
