On the night of June 8 (from 18:00 on June 7), the Russian forces attacked with 155 strike UAVs of the Shahed type, as well as Gerbera, Italmas, and Bandero drones, along with imitation drones of the “Parodiya” type, launched from the directions of Bryansk, Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), and Hvardiiske in occupied Crimea.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data as of 08:00, air defense forces shot down or suppressed 124 UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, Bandero, and other types across the north, south, and east of the country.
Impacts from 20 strike UAVs were recorded at 17 locations, and debris from downed drones fell at 6 locations.
