589 children have been killed in Ukraine as a result of Russia's armed aggression

As of the morning of November 12, 2024, more than 2,270 children have been affected by Russia's full-scale armed aggression in Ukraine. According to official information from juvenile prosecutors, 589 children have been killed, and 1,681 have been injured to varying degrees, reports the Office of the Prosecutor General.

The highest number of child casualties occurred in the following regions:

  • Donetsk (598),
  • Kharkiv (459),
  • Kherson (187),
  • Dnipropetrovsk (190),
  • Kyiv (133),
  • Zaporizhzhia (154),
  • Mykolaiv (117).

On November 11, as a result of shelling in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region, two boys, aged 2 and 10, and a 2-month-old girl were killed, while an 11-year-old boy was injured.

Also, on November 11, during shelling in Zaporizhzhia, five children were injured: boys aged 4, 16, and 17, and girls aged 15 and 17.
