USAID, together with partners, chose six startups that will represent Ukraine for the first time in the Ukrainian Corner at the international conference SXSW 2022 from 11 to 20 March in Austin, Texas!
Four of them - Framiore, EFFA, FlashBeats and SPOKK - are grantees of the USAID Competitive Economy of Ukraine Programme.
About 60 mature startups competed to take part in the conference. 12 were invited to Pitch, which took place January 21. Meet the finalists:
Framiore
Ukrainian ecological brand of women's clothing with its own clothing production and research center of textile products and technologies. A brand that creates clothes on the principles of sustainable and ethical production. Simple elegance, harmonious colors, weightless eco-fabric. Framiore clothing has a minimalist design, so it is easy to create an image that will not have an expiration date.
effa
Effa is a Ukrainian startup in the field of sustainability. It is engaged in the production of disposable eco-friendly products for daily use. The first was a fully recyclable paper toothbrush.
Effa is a short-time use toothbrush made of paper and eco-friendly materials, which make Effa 100% green. The main mission of a startup in Ukraine is to draw public attention to environmental problems, as well as to involve the country in the global sustainable movement.
FlashBeats
A mobile app that can sync the flashlights of thousands of smartphones to create amazing light shows at sporting / music events and home parties. FlashBeats allows you to invite an unlimited amount of your friends.

Deep3dstudio
Deep3dstudio is a photogrammetry studio in Kyiv providing 3D scanning and post-production services for different industries. Their custom-built 3D scanning rig with 100 DLSR cameras is a perfect tool for creating a wide range of unique high-quality products. Deep3dstudio 3D everything.
Proof-of-Love
NFT is now called the future technology that can be used in investing, law, banking, fashion, art and art, music, charity, crowdfunding, and more. In Ukraine, interest in this innovative technology is just beginning. At the same time, they are already actively earning money on goods created based on NFT.
Proof-of-Love is a meta-universe of blockchain-based fashion, where we transform the old fashion system into a new one, focused on WEB3, creating a match between the creator and venture capital.
SPOKK
This is a Ukrainian startup in the field of digital insurance. The company's first product is online pet insurance, and this is the only such offer on the Ukrainian market.
The startup was founded by Alexandra Gladyshevskaya (CEO), Sergey Tverdokhleb (CBDO) and Boris Manokhin (CCO) in 2018. Now SPOKK is a team of seven people, including developers, marketers, administrators, and the creators themselves.
The winners will receive stands within the Ukrainian Corner at the SXSW 2022 conference, tickets, reimbursement of flight and accommodation costs.
The first official delegation at SXSW (South by Southwest) from Ukraine was made possible by the close cooperation of the USAID Competitive Economy of Ukraine Programme, the Ukrainian Startup Fund, the Startup Grind Kyiv, and the Western NIS Enterprise Fund. The initiative is supported by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and the Council of Exporters and Investors under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine with the International Technology Holding Techiia and UNIT.City.
