In Kharkiv, as a result of the nighttime drone attack, seven people were killed, and three were injured, with 15 buildings burned down. Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported this on Telegram.

He mentioned that 15 private houses were completely burned down due to the attack. Almost half of the street was burned, the mayor noted. Terekhov stated that all necessary assistance is being provided to the victims.
"The city is ready to provide housing to everyone who, as a result of Russia's terrorist attack, finds themselves homeless," he said.
All relevant municipal services are working at the site of the attack, and debris clearance is underway.
The State Emergency Service informs that in the evening of February 9, as a result of enemy UAV strikes on residential areas and civilian infrastructure in the Nemyshlyansky district of Kharkiv, massive fires broke out at various addresses. Residential buildings covering an area of ââapproximately 3,700 square meters and a storage facility covering an area of ââ400 square meters were on fire.
As Siniehubov reported, five people died as a result of the fire: a man and his wife; their three children aged 7 months, 7 years, and 4 years.
"The fire occurred due to a fuel leak, after which a dangerous substance leaked onto the street where the residential sector is located. The man's body was found in the corridor of the house, while the mother and children tried to save themselves in the bathroom. The search for the body of the youngest boy is ongoing," said the head of the regional administration.
In another house, the following individuals died: a 66-year-old man; his 65-year-old wife.
Among the injured as a result of the fire and nighttime strikes were: two women aged 61 and 39; a 45-year-old man.
"All circumstances are being established. Relevant services are working at the scene. Information will be updated," added the head of the regional administration.
According to the chief of the Investigative Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kharkiv region, Serhiy Bolvinov, witnesses reported sounds of "Shaheds." Currently, investigators are collecting all the expertise to later legally prove that Russia deliberately targets civilian objects.
"From a legal point of view, this is a violation of the laws and customs of war, and both the state as a whole and specific individuals are responsible for it. We will pursue the case to the end. We have contacted the relatives of the deceased family. We need to take DNA samples for analysis," Bolvinov noted.
