Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces, as part of the Crimean Switch Off operation, struck 19 electrical substations in occupied territories of Ukraine, including 17 in Crimea and two in the occupied parts of Donetsk region.
Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces Robert “Madyar” Brovdi reported the operation.
“19 energy facilities were hit within 48 hours on July 23–24 in Crimea (17) and other occupied territories (2),” Brovdi said.
He added that between July 1 and July 24, Ukrainian forces had struck a total of 136 energy-related targets.
The facilities hit on July 23–24 included:
- the 110 kV “Malorichenske” substation in Crimea;
- the 110/35 kV “Prymorskyi” substation in Prymorskyi, Crimea;
- the 110/10 kV “Hurzuf” substation in Hurzuf, Crimea;
- the 110 kV “Nasosna-16” substation in Vasylkove, Crimea;
- the 110 kV “Voskhod” substation in Feodosia, Crimea;
- the 110 kV “Oleksiivka” substation in Oleksiivka, Crimea;
- the 110 kV “Vesele” substation in Vesele, Crimea;
- the 110 kV “Kholodylnyk” substation in Yevpatoria, Crimea;
- the 110 kV “Haspra” substation in Hasprа, Crimea;
- the 110 kV “Krainie” substation in Krainie, Crimea;
- the 110 kV “Skvortsovo” substation in Skvortsovo, Crimea;
- the 110/10 kV “Blizhni Kamyshi” substation in Feodosia, Crimea;
- the 110 kV “Hlibivka” substation in Vnukove, Crimea;
- the 110 kV “Koktebel” substation in Shchebetivka, Crimea;
- the 110 kV “Berehove” substation in Molochne, Crimea;
- the 110 kV “Sudak” substation in Sudak, Crimea;
- the 110/10 kV “Yalta” substation in Yalta, Crimea;
- an electrical substation in Kremenivka, Donetsk region;
- an electrical substation in Druzhba, Donetsk region.
The Ukrainian military stated that the strikes are aimed at reducing Russia’s ability to use occupied territories for military support and logistics.
