A plane with a Chinese delegation landed at Moscow's Vnukovo airport, which arrived in Russia for talks. Chinese President Xi Jinping's plane is expected to arrive shortly.

As the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Peskov, told reporters, the meeting between Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping will take place approximately at 16:30. This will be a one-on-one conversation that will continue over an informal lunch.

Official Russian-Chinese talks are scheduled for 15:00 March 21.

In addition to bilateral issues, the Russian Federation and China leaders will discuss the plan for a peaceful settlement in Ukraine proposed by Beijing.

“One way or another, the topics touched upon in this plan, of course, will inevitably be touched upon during the exchange of views on Ukraine. Of course, Ukraine will appear on the agenda, so, of course, we can safely assume that they will be touched upon in one way or another. But here, of course, President Putin will provide exhaustive explanations so that President Xi Jinping can, as they say, get a vision of the current situation from the Russian side,” said Dmitry Peskov.

A few days before Xi Jinping's visit to Moscow, the International Criminal Court in The Hague issued an arrest warrant for Vladimir Putin, saying that the Russian President was personally responsible for the forced deportation of children from the occupied Ukrainian territories to Russia.
