In Milan, a charity evening UNITED FOR UKRAINE, was held under the patronage of UNITED24 ambassador Andriy Shevchenko. The event was supported by Giorgio Armani, football players, officials, political and public figures.
The outstanding football player brought a flag with Volodymyr Zelensky's signature from Kyiv. The auction for the right to purchase this flag became the culmination of the evening. The initial cost of 5,000 euros quickly increased and stopped at 110,000 euros. The flag was purchased by the League of Football Clubs of Series A as a symbol of their unity in support of Ukraine.
In total, 150,000 euros were collected at the dinner. All funds will be transferred through UNITED24 to the reconstruction of the stadium in Irpin, which Shevchenko takes care of.
