A Russian Armed Forces colonel, Oleksii Kolomeitsev, was eliminated in the Moscow region during the night of September 27. He was responsible for training drone operators and heading a specialized center.

This was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

According to Ukrainian military intelligence sources, the elimination of Kolomeitsev was the result of a special operation by the local resistance movement against the Kremlin regime, coordinated with HUR.

Kolomeitsev was involved in training Russian specialists in the use of UAVs, particularly operators and support personnel for Shahed-type kamikaze drones.

"The 51-year-old Kolomeitsev headed the 924th State Center (military unit 20924) of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, which specializes in training experts for combat drone operations, including 'Shaheds,' as well as UAV maintenance personnel," Main Intelligence Directorate confirmed, acknowledging the elimination of the Russian colonel.

The source noted that the resistance movement is expanding its activities across Russia and beyond.

"Every Russian war criminal, every individual involved in the aggression against Ukraine is our target, regardless of rank, age, gender, or location. We will eliminate all those with Ukrainian blood on their hands until the Russian regime stops the war and is held accountable for all its crimes," the source stated.
