Attacks on port infrastructure are causing significant losses for agricultural exporters in Ukraine. Acting Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Taras Vysotsky reported this during a TV broadcast.

He noted that grain storage facilities, sunflower oil tanks, and other equipment have been destroyed.

"If we assess the losses in terms of the value of the products and the equipment itself, unfortunately, the figure approaches nearly half a billion dollars," Vysotsky clarified.

He added that the losses are being recorded, and there will be a possibility of obtaining compensation for the damages from the aggressor.

At the same time, the acting minister expressed confidence that agricultural exports this year will remain active, given the volume of the harvested crop.
