On the night of June 24 (starting at 10:00 p.m. on June 23), the Russian forces launched an attack using 97 strike UAVs—Shahed-type drones and various decoy drones—from the directions of Oryol, Millerovo, Kursk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, as well as Chauda in occupied Crimea.

The aerial assault was repelled by Ukrainian Defense Forces using fighter aircraft, air defense missile units, electronic warfare systems, UAV units, and mobile fire groups.

As of 8:00 a.m., air defense forces had neutralized 78 UAVs of the Shahed type and other models in the east, south, and north of the country. Of these, 63 were shot down with kinetic weapons, and 15 were suppressed or lost via electronic warfare.

Russian strike UAVs hit targets in six locations.
