Air defense neutralized 47 out of 52 Russian drones

During the night of July 1 (starting at 9:00 p.m. on June 30), the Russian forces launched an attack using 52 strike UAVs of the Shahed type and various types of decoy drones from the directions of Bryansk, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia.

The aerial assault was repelled by Ukrainian Defense Forces using aircraft, electronic warfare (EW) units, and mobile fire groups.

As of 9:00 a.m., air defense had neutralized 47  Shahed-type drones (and other types of UAVs) in the northern and eastern regions of the country. Fourteen were shot down by kinetic means, while 33 were jammed or suppressed by EW systems.

Russian aerial weapons struck three locations, and debris from downed drones fell in one additional location.
