Today, May 29, the opening of the exhibition "Invasion. Kyiv Shotâat the National Museum of History of Ukraine. It is dedicated to the defense of Kyiv from the Russian troops.
The exposition is based on items collected by the museum staff in Kyiv region, mostly in Irpin. Visitors will be able to see equipment, items, products of Russian soldiers, Russian propaganda books, the remains of ammunition destroyed or stolen by the occupiers things and photos made by museum staff in destroyed cities and villages.
"It is difficult to watch and once again realize the scale of Russia's crimes. But we must know the enemy in person. History is being created before our eyes. We are obliged to carefully assemble it in pieces. Therefore, I advise everyone to visit this exhibition. It is symbolic that the exhibition opens today - on the birthday of our favorite unconquered capital. It's persevered. Ukraine will also survive," said Oleksandr Tkachenko, Minister of Culture and Information Policy.
For the public, the exhibition will be available from Monday, May 30, daily from 10:00 to 17:00.
