The Ministry of Digital Transformation, together with the blockchain company Everstake and the cryptocurrency exchange FTX, is launching the official Aid For Ukraine website to raise funds in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and humanitarian aid programmes.

The funds raised will be spent on the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as:
- informational counteraction to Russian propaganda,
- global communication campaign on true events in Ukraine,
- cybersecurity and digital infrastructure recovery,
- providing additional protection and migration of registers,
- purchase of technical special equipment and facilities.
The fundraising process will be monitored in real-time on the website. The total amount will be summed up and expressed in US dollars at the Coingecko exchange rate.
"Today, cryptocurrencies are a powerful tool for raising funds to support the Ukrainian army. Crypto technology is also helping to raise awareness of the Russian invasion of Ukraine among the global technology community. The international support of our defenders must continue to grow. In particular, this goal will be actively promoted by the charity initiative "Aid For Ukraine", which we launched together with the blockchain company Everstake", - said Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation for IT Development Alexander Bornyakov.
The technological implementation of the Aid For Ukraine initiative is provided by the blockchain company Everstake and the cryptocurrency exchange FTX, which converts the funds raised in cryptocurrencies into US dollars.
"Freedom has always been at the heart of the crypto community, and this is the same fundamental value that Ukraine is currently fighting for. Since the beginning of the war, the world crypto community has actively supported Ukraine. As part of this large community and as a Ukrainian company, we at Everstake feel the need to help everyone we can. That's why the cryptofraising initiative "Aid For Ukraine" was launched with the support of the Ministry of Finance," said Serhiy Vasylchuk, CEO of Everstake blockchain.
As of today, the official wallets of the Ministry of Digital Transformation have received $ 52 million in cryptocurrencies.
