In case of a quick victory of Ukraine in the war in Russia, the entire system of power will collapse, and the "classic Russian turmoil" and civil war will begin there.

The system of power of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is falling apart before our eyes. Yevgeny Prigozhin, the head of the Wagner PMC, has huge ambitions, and Ramzan Kadyrov behaves much more significantly than the commander of a small detachment.

Publicist and political scientist Andrey Piontkovsky shared this opinion in an interview with UNIAN, commenting on Prigozhin's appeal to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. According to him, it is the collapse of the Putin system that is holding back the West from decisive action.

Piontkovsky believes that the private armies created in Russia are focused not on victory in Ukraine, but on a future civil war in the Russian Federation itself.

“Have you noticed that this is not the first appeal from Prigozhin to Zelensky and to the Ukrainian army? And unlike the Kremlin propagandists, he actually does it with respect. This time he didn’t say “clown”, as they like, but "Vladimir Aleksandrovich Zelensky." Before that, he highly appreciated the Ukrainian army. Prigozhin is a war criminal and a criminal. But by and large he does what would look good from Putin.

This once again shows that all these private armies of Prigozhin, Kadyrov, Rogozin are focused on something other than victory in Ukraine, because this is impossible. They are created for the great civil war of post-Putin Russia. Prigozhin has enormous ambitions. Kadyrov behaves much more significantly than the commander of a small detachment. This indicates that Putin's power system is falling apart before our eyes. Unfortunately, this is also one of the elements holding the West from taking decisive action," Piontkovsky says.

The expert emphasizes that the West must now do a simple thing - transfer all the necessary weapons to our Armed Forces. But they are held back by fear of a quick Ukrainian victory.

"There is no need to order any military complexes, and they already have them. It is somewhere in Poland in warehouses. They are held back by this fear of nuclear weapons and the fear of the complete collapse of Russia. Like," if we give weapons now, Ukraine will win within several weeks, taking Mariupol, Berdyansk, Crimea according to the same scenario," Piontkovsky says.

The expert predicts that in this case, the entire system of power in Russia will collapse, and "classic Russian turmoil" and civil war will begin there. "A civil war will start in a vast territory of 11 time zones. This frightens the West. For 15 years, Putin has been scaring, and now there is still this fear of residual power," Piontkovsky said.
