The Republican Party criticizes U.S. President Joe Biden for insufficient assistance to Ukraine. This is a positive trend that could push forward the issue of strengthening support for Kyiv, according to political analyst Andrey Piontkovsky in an interview on "Espreso."

Piontkovsky stated that the Republicans' plan for Ukraine's victory in the war is a document from Congress. It proposes an immediate maneuver: a document signed by the three heads of the leading committees of the House of Representatives Republicans, covering defense, intelligence, and foreign policy. There are three similar committee chairpersons in the Verkhovna Rada.

"If I were them, I would immediately fly to the United States, hold a meeting with these colleagues, create a working group consisting of the heads of six committees: the three remarkable Republicans – McCaul, Rogers, and Turner, and the three heads of Ukrainian committees. They would constantly discuss and implement the plan for Ukraine's victory, exert pressure on Congress and the Council on the relevant government mechanisms for implementation," noted Piontkovsky.

In his opinion, Republicans rightfully criticize Joe Biden for insufficient support for Ukraine. Currently, a powerful ally is being formed, as the Reagan wing of the Republican Party takes precedence over the Trump wing.

"And rightfully so, it criticizes Biden for insufficiently supporting Ukraine. This Republican plan should be immediately translated into Ukrainian and disseminated through all media outlets. There's an excellent compilation of events since 2014, covering all the stages where the Biden administration consistently hindered the transfer of state-of-the-art defense technologies," asserts the political analyst.

Everyone remembers how agonizing the negotiations were for the provision of HIMARS, then Patriot, Abrams, and finally ATACMS.

"This is a new trend: the Republican Party seems to be shaping its electoral campaign by criticizing Biden for failing to fulfill the role of the leader of the free world. This is a positive trend, and Ukraine should undoubtedly provide maximum support for it," concluded Andrey Piontkovsky.
