The well-known Ukrainian footballer and coach Andriy Shevchenko, who recently took Ukraine to the quarterfinals of Euro 2020, became the head coach of the top Italian league Football Club "Genoa".
According to the press service of the F.C. Genoa, Shevchenko will start work on November 15.
The club said that the contract with Shevchenko was signed until June 30, 2024. According to media reports, he will earn 1.8 million euros annually in his new position.
Genoa CFC and 777 Partners (the American company that owns the club) warmly welcome Mr. Shevchenko and wish him fruitful work at the helm of the oldest club in Italy.
